The Revenue Enabler is proud to welcome Emma Paton (Helt) to the team, bringing over 25 years of frontline sales experience, FTSE 100 credentials, and a genuine passion for helping sales professionals succeed.
We have some exciting news.
The Revenue Enabler is proud to welcome Emma Paton to the team, and if you spend five minutes with her background, you'll understand why we're so pleased to have her on board.
Emma brings over 25 years of experience in B2B sales, spanning every stage of the sales career ladder. From her early days as a recruiter through to Account Executive, Sales Manager, Product Sales Specialist, and SDR leadership, Emma has lived the full picture of what it takes to build, grow, and sustain a successful sales career.
She has sold into FTSE 100 organisations, grown major accounts from a cold call all the way through to five-year contracts, and managed a client base of over $10 million with consistent year-on-year growth of 20%. These aren't numbers she talks about for effect.
They're the result of a career built on discipline, process, and a relentless focus on understanding what buyers actually need.
At The Revenue Enabler, we've always believed that great training comes from people who have genuinely been in the trenches. James Bissell built this business on that foundation, and Emma fits that philosophy perfectly.
What makes Emma particularly compelling for our clients is that she hasn't just sold. She has led sales teams and ran her own business.
“Emma understands what it feels like to sit across from a difficult economic buyer, to build and manage a pipeline while under pressure, and to coach a rep who just needs the right skills to unlock their potential.” - James Bissell, Founder, The Revenue Enabler
Emma also brings something that we think is underrated in the sales training world, the perspective of someone who has been both seller and buyer. Having spent time as a sales leader, Emma knows exactly what goes through a buyer's mind when a cold call comes in, when a proposal lands on their desk, or when they're being asked to sign off on a significant investment. That dual perspective shapes how she coaches, how she trains, and how she helps teams improve.
Emma joins us at a time when The Revenue Enabler is continuing to grow its client base across the UK and beyond. She will be working closely with sales teams and sales leaders, supporting our team training engagements and bringing modern strategy and execution playbooks to how we help organisations close skill gaps and drive measurable revenue improvement.
Combined, Emma and James bring 45 years of hands-on sales experience to The Revenue Enabler. That's not a number we use lightly. It means that when one of our clients asks a question about ramp time, quota attainment, discovery process, or how to handle a difficult objection, they're getting answers from people who have navigated those exact challenges across dozens of industries and hundreds of sales cycles.
"I've spent my whole career in sales, and the thing that has always driven me is the people. The reps who haven't had a fair start, the managers who want to do right by their teams but don't always have the tools, the leaders who know their team can do more but can't quite pinpoint why they're falling short. That's exactly what The Revenue Enabler exists to fix. I'm incredibly proud to be part of it."
We're excited about what Emma's addition means for our clients, our community, and the quality of support we're able to provide to sales professionals at every level.
If you're a sales leader or a sales rep who wants to understand more about how we work, and what a structured, experience-led approach to sales enablement can do for your team, now is a great time to get in touch.
